Data Scientist

 

Bubbleye’s industry leading AI works relentlessly for hundreds of clients, crunching realtime data and intelligently improving each client’s advertising settings across multiple channels, to generate the highest possible ROI.

Different optimization approaches and algorithms are best suited to tackle different situations, and solve different problems. That’s why our R&D team closely monitors data across diverse advertising campaigns, and continuously looks for new patterns and new algorithms to ensure success in every possible situation. We want YOU to join our R&D team and contribute your experience, outside-the-box thinking and skill building scientifically grounded models and algorithms to continuously increase our automation’s effectiveness.

You’ll work closely with our CTO. You’ll study data from different sources, propose new solutions to address specific advertising challenges, build PoCs and A/B test different models to identify the best suited solution. You’ll then liaise with our product team to embed those solutions into our product pipeline, and use them at scale in a production environment. Your ideal traits:

  • 3+ years of experience processing data to generate meaningful insights
  • Deep understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as regressions, k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Boosting, Deep Learning, etc.
  • Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc. (excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable)
  • Experience developing A/B testing and evaluating model quality
  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Google Sheets, Tableau, D3, ggplot, etc.
  • Coding knowledge and experience with common query languages: R, Python, SQL
  • Data-driven approach, precise and meticulous attitude
  • Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Domain knowledge in the mobile advertising space (familiarity with tracking links, postbacks, post-install events etc.)
  • Experience with data analytics frameworks (e.g. Hydra, Google BigQuery, Presto, etc.)

 

Sr. Backend Engineer

 

Blazing fast and clean APIs are your thing? Join us and strengthen our software backbone, handling thousands of requests per second. Speed, Stability and Maintainable Code is your mantra. Work closely with our data engineers and DevOps to guarantee highly available, fast and fully tested features.

We are looking for a software engineer with 5+ years of experience in web software development, good English communication skills and a focus on the following areas:

  • Backend programming (Java, Scala)
  • RESTful API design & consumption
  • Relational database design & optimization
  • Software architecture design, build and maintain
  • Scala functional libraries: Cats, Circe, Doobie, Http4s
  • Domain knowledge for mobile advertising
  • NoSQL experience
  • AWS services (EC2, S3, Athena)
  • GraphQL
  • Most importantly, a can-do attitude and plenty of energy to work independently and solve problems as you go. In full startup spirit.

 

Sr. Data Engineer

 

Bubbleye’s technology helps clients improve their advertising settings in realtime, to achieve the highest possible ROI. Our job is to crunch massive volumes of real time performance signals, and automatically adjust the settings of each advertising campaign responsively.

The foundation of such a system is solid, always available, reliable data. Which can be a challenge when different clients store their data in different systems and expose it in different formats and with different granularity. That’s why we need YOU, an experienced data ninja to ensure the data in our system is correct, quickly available and secure at all times.

You’ll be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow, collection and processing. You’ll respond directly to our CTO and support our software developers, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives, ensuring optimal data delivery throughout the system.

Your ideal traits:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and AWS Athena
  • Experience building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
  • Experience with AWS cloud services
  • Experience with object-oriented/functional languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently

Recommended:

  • Domain knowledge in the mobile advertising space (familiarity with tracking links, postbacks, post-install events etc.)
  • Experience with data analytics frameworks (e.g. Hydra, Google BigQuery, Presto, etc.)
